Over the past month, I have been working diligently on a project that I am incredibly passionate about and am so excited to FINALLY share it with you! Drum roll, please….. now introducing:

What is Treading With Purpose?

Over the years, I have developed such a strong passion for fitness. Sharing that love with those around me is the icing on the cake. I can’t wait for you to run, walk, ride or jog alongside me towards your purpose over the next month and beyond!

So, what does it actually mean to tread with purpose? Treading with purpose is the idea that when we move, we do so with intention. We move our bodies to live happier, healthier, more PURPOSEFUL lives. We move with the intent to serve, both ourselves and those around us. To empower each other and to remind ourselves how incredibly capable our bodies can be. And this month, with your help, we move to help bring that message to the younger generation as well. 

Treading With Purpose Challenge

Through the month of October, YOU are encouraged to commit to a distance of your choosing. Run, walk, jog, bike or simply count your steps. All that matters is that you MOVE. Sign up through “sign up now” button below to join the Facebook Group to which you can expect exclusive content, weekly giveaways, downloadable playlists from the DJ Truth, access to exclusive discounts and weekly meetups (weather permitting)! Opt to join the movement and truly run FOR a purpose by pledging a dollar amount of your choosing to be donated to the Kent County chapter of Girls’ on the Run. Once you’ve signed up, an email will he sent to you detailing next steps and how to create your pledge. Though this group has so many incredible benefits, my biggest goal over the next 31 days is to keep you motivated and feeling incredibly proud of yourself every step of the way.

I will personally be pledging $2 per every mile I run in the upcoming month with the intent to run 100 miles in total. There is no pressure to donate, and either way, you are invited to be apart of the FB community. Donations, if made can be as little as .10 per mile or an easy one-time donation.

Why Girls on the Run?

Though I personally have great memories as a young girl running in GOTR, it was the years that I spent on the “other side”, as a coach, that made an even greater impact on my life. From lessons on friendship, to self-love and the importance of physical activity, Girls on the Run is the BEST place for a young girl to grow up learning how capable and strong she is alone, and how POWERFUL she can be when she bands together with another.
